Information Technology Support Technician
Duties: This position is a blend of fieldwork (going to customer homes and offices) and in-office bench service work. In-office bench work includes various tasks, such as Data Migration, Data Recovery, Computer Tune-up, Install Software, Password Reset, Router Configuration, Reload PC Desktop/Laptop, Smart Phone E-Mail Setup, Turn-Key PC/Laptop deployments, and virus cleanup. Fieldwork includes various tasks, such as installations, computer placement, installing network printers and field assessments, answering the phone and providing remote control support. Provides IT Services to both Business and Residential clients. Assess customer needs and sell services to fulfill those needs. Lead junior engineers to learn and grow.
Skills: You must have well-rounded computer services skills. For example, installation of Windows 10, configuring routers and other peripherals, updating drivers, moving data, removing viruses and more. Candidate must have a basic understanding of networks and routers. Candidates will work with customers to assess needs and sell computer services.
Technical Requirements: 2-4 Year Experience or Technical Certificate or Degree in IS/IT. A+ Certified, comfortable with networking. The candidate must have a working knowledge of Windows-based operating systems and applications. Must be pro-Microsoft as we are a Microsoft Silver Partner selling Microsoft Office 365 services.
Personal Skills/Customer Interaction: This role participates in in-office meetings and services. Solo field service work, full business and residential Information Technology such as deployment and engineering. Candidate should be able to display the ability to retain knowledge on procedures and approach to technical issues. Once proficient in the role, he/she mentors junior engineers to become more efficient and skilled. This candidate must be personable and willing to communicate clearly technical issues that clients may experience with them directly and politely. Can do attitude is a must.

Development Path: From Information Technology Specialist you will be transitioned into Field Services I based on IT skills, attack level, sales engineer level, personality and spirit towards services offered. Extra incentives apply to upper-band technicians.
Experience as an engineer at Best Buy Geek Squad, Milwaukee PC, iNet, or at a help desk, etc. is a plus.
